A Soliders Story

I wanted to create a piece of work that captured the isolation and trauma that soldiers go through after war. The focus was on capturing PTSD through conceptual imagery. The idea of running away from your past and the doors to your past always surrounding you.

Ive used chalk texture and a bright gold colour to create a desert like feel and show how lost and almost alone soldiers are. The Guns on the page take there own forms and over shadow the land.
